This is a takeoff on our original cutting board, with a mix of Walnut and Maple laminated together to give a more contemporary look. It’s a convenient size, useful for cutting bread, cheese, vegetables, or other items. The ends are rounded for a comfortable fit which enable the board to be used for serving as well.
The boards are made with Maple and Walnut, two excellent cutting board woods which will last forever. They are designed to be used regularly, cleaned easily, and stored either on the counter, or upright to the side. When soiled, clean them with soap and water and set them to the side to dry (don’t machine wash them). Upkeep is simple, just rub them down with mineral oil from the supermarket every 6-12 months, depending on usage. All materials and finish used are food safe.
