When it comes time to carve a turkey or roast, you need a large cutting surface that can hold up to the chopping and not leave a mess all over your countertop. Enter the ‘Carving Board”. Its large size allows you to place even the largest item on it and prepare it for family and friends. The “juice groove” round the outside keeps the liquid from spilling out on your countertop or table. The cutouts underneath make it easy to grip and handle. I chose the best hardwoods for my cutting boards – like Maple, Beech, Birch or Walnut. The carving board is designed to be used regularly, cleaned easily, and stored either on the counter, or upright to the side. It comes equipped with rubber feet on the bottom to both keep it from slipping during use, and to have air circulate beneath them. When soiled, clean them with soap and water and set it to the side to dry (don’t machine wash them). Upkeep is simple, just rub them down with mineral oil from the supermarket every 6-12 months, depending on usage. All materials and finish used are food safe.
