Well, with the Covid virus, I haven’t been able to get out to craft shows/farmer’s markets to sell, so I get to do some home projects done. Working on a small kitchen island with a Arts & Crafts “Flair” to it. My wife have very definite requirements for it, so this was an interesting project that I had to design from scratch (rather than going with a pre-made plan). Here I’ve completed probably the most stressful part of woodworking – the Glue Up!
You get everything cut to size, the joinery all tested, you do a dry fit to test it all up. Yet, once you start applying glue, you have a short period of time to put it all together and squared up before the glue sets and you are stuck!
