Well, I haven’t been posting much – sorry about that. Summer has been pretty hot where I live, and my shop is not air conditioned (I’ve got heat, but no AC) so whenever I go in to do some work, I end up sweating on the wood withing 20 minutes. Not exactly good for the finish.
I have done some selling at farmer’s markets, but since it is summer time, I also have been taking some vacation time to go backpacking, sightseeing, and celebrating my 40th anniversary with my lovely wife (who puts up with my use of power tools fairly well). We just got back from Atlantic City NJ, where the whole clan from both sides gathered together to celebrate our 40th. It was good seeing everyone and we had a great time.
Still, the time to buckle down has come. I just got a commission for a custom sized tea box (more on that later) and I still have two other projects to do before I can start on that one. Going to be busy for a while.
I hope to stop by and see my work over the next couple of weeks as I move forward towards the fall and try and complete some projects.
