Good Day at the Farmer’s Market

Had a great time at the Farmer’s Market! A lot of the sellers are the low cost phone holders, tablet holders, etc. I had a good time talking to folks and explaining my craft, and some folks came up with some excellent ideas for other projects.

As an “attention grabber” I built a wood “spinner” made with 10” x ¾” x 1” strips and a 36” x ¼” metal rod. I was able to find a small motor on Amazon that could spin it, and once it was hooked up, it works just like the spinners you see on people’s porches. It certainly drew in the kids and their parents, and I have five different folks come and ask to buy it. So I’ve got a new product to build in time for my next Farmer’s Market!

Some folks had a few other ideas on things to build, so I will probably build one or two new items to match that as well. One of the benefits of attending the market!
